I was doing some shopping around in Newfoundland and, with my fiancée's help, came across a computing hardware shop called Boom I.T. Group (which we will call BoomIT for short). You can view their website @ https://boomit.ca/. The short version is that it's worth stopping at their store if you're lucky enough to live near the area of St. John's, NL. However, I have a lot of positive things to say about my visit there yesterday.
First, Sean who runs the shop was there and greeted me warmly. He was finishing up some cable management on a customer's PC when I arrived with my 15 yo son, 2 yo daughter, and fiancée all in tow. After a brief bit of banter about the merits and challenges of cable management, Sean started digging into the kind of assistance I was looking for, and freely started putting together a quote for me including some of the components I was interested in. After a bit of back and forth, and a lot of questions from me, Sean also got one of his employee's to help field some of the more detailed questions. Sean and the workers there are all clearly passionate about computing technology, and willing to help anyone get the best system for their budgets and needs. Ultimately, I wound up being quoted for a really good build for playing games at 1080p or 1440p, with a lot of solid advice about what could be improved with the build and how much extra those upgrades would cost. So, today we are looking at that build and comparing prices for the various components. We'll find that for the most part, BoomIT falls right within pricing expectations. For a couple of the items, they are the best price I found in the comparison today. The one item that really stands out is the price of the Antec DF700 ATX Mid Tower Case, where BoomIT beats Amazon by about $100!

Conclusion
As mentioned, this build with a RTX 4060 Graphics Card and ambitiously water-cooled AMD Ryzen 5 7600X should be able to handle gaming at 1080p or 1440p, along with any office type work that needs to be done on the side. This build should also be pretty good for video editing and content creation, but an upgrade to a CPU with more cores would be a good idea for that application (especially if streaming and/or recording gameplay is a part of that content creation). In that case, perhaps consider an AMD Ryzen 9 7900X 4.7 GHz 12-Core Processor instead, and a larger RAM package with faster clock speed such as the Corsair Vengeance 64 GB (4 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL36 Memory to go with it.
